KMF’s Inaugural Adventure Horseback Session Guest Speakers

Invited to bring our perspective of adventure travel through horseback riding, we spoke of our mission to encourage a cultural shift to accessibility within the equestrian world.

Rooted in our concept of attunement over conquest, we shared how the two of us each entered the horse world from non-equestrian backgrounds, drawn not to sport but to slow, animal-led journeys. We discussed how moving with the herd tunes your senses, tightens your relationship with the environment, and how this ancestral way of travel is finding relevance in the world of exploration.

Our hope was to show that you don’t need to be a polished rider to horse-pack, just patience, presence, and a willingness to be shaped by the animal beneath you.
